Four Google veterans left to start Discovery Loop, announced on 5 August. The seed round is co-led by Radical Ventures and Khosla Ventures, with Lightspeed, Kleiner Perkins, Doerr Capital and Alphabet also participating. Neither the amount raised nor the valuation was disclosed.
Alphabet is both the company the four just left and one of the investors backing them. It is also supplying the compute for at least the first year.
